Life Soundtrack

Have you ever feel the moment that hits the spot and say "yes! this is the song!" after listening to a certain song? I did! of course there might be a lot of love songs that many girls may think of "oh, it was a song made for me." But except for those romantic songs, there is one song that perfectly describe my recent life. That is " the climb" form Miley Cyrus. It is actually a song I recieved from a friend when I was in a deep depression because of the GMAT test.

I was suppose to be enrolled into the 2010 Fall semester graduate school. However, as you can see, I didn't do well on the GMAT test which the school required,  so I am now here in ALP program. Study abroad has always been my goal since I graduated from the university. My ideal plan was to have a one year working experience and then study in finance related graduate program. After graduate from school, I plan to stay at USA to work for 2-3 years. What a wonderful plan, isn't it? But life has not always been so easy and perfect. I didn't get the admission from my ideal school and I have to make a plan B. I was so depressed and hopeless at that moment, thinking of my life is done. My friend tried to cheer me up so he send this song to me.

When I first listen to "the climb", the melody sounds so familiar to me. After reading lyrics from the song, I feel so inspired and decided to move on again. My favorite part of lyrics is "There's always gonna be another mountain.I'm always gonna wanna make it move.Always gonna be an up-hill battle.Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose.Ain't about how fast I get there.Ain't about what's waiting on the other side.It's the climb" I keep those words in mind. Whenever I feel frustrated or upset, this song always give me the courage to keep moving forward.
