(The movie Dr. Dolittle reminds me a bad memory 10 years ago. I was still a little girl at that time, spending my summer vacation in California with my aunt. I went to see Dr. Dolittle with my cousin, but I can barely understand what was the movie about. My English is not good enough to catch up all the words from the movie, so I just sit there like an idiot watching people laughing crazily. Ever since that day, I hate this movie lol )
I used to have a dog--Lucky, who happens to be the cutest Maltese in the world.(I believe every owner would feel the same way to their pet.) If he could speak, the first question I might ask him is " Who do you love most? Daddy? Mommy? Older brother? or ME?" The answer had better be me or else I will ask him to shut up. Among four of our family, I might be the one who treated him best. I took shower for him, I sometimes fed him steak, and I even let him share my pillow. So if I am not his "significant other", I would definitely feel heart breaking.
Next question I want to ask him is that " Are you gay? " or " Are you interested in other species more than dogs?" This is because one of my friend tried to match her female Maltese to my dog. When the female Maltese came to my house, Lucky just stare at her for a while and doesn't feel excited at all. We try to turn off the light and create a romantic atmosphere, but he just didn't do what all male animals usually do when they see female. " Maybe they feel shy to do such things in front of us" my friend try to explained for Lucky. So we put them in to a room for about two hours. After several days, I called to my friend asking her if we have any good news, but the answer is no. One strange thing is that another friend of mine took her mini pig to my house and Lucky is so crazy about her. He kept chasing and smelling at the mini pig as if she was the hottest girl he had ever seen. He really has to answer this question to clear out my doubt.
It has been five years since Lucky passed away. I miss him a lot! I have his picture in my schedule book which I bring it everyday with me, and I set him as my desktop picture so that I can see his big smile whenever I think about him. Maybe one last question here for Lucky, " will you be part of our family next time?"

I used to have a dog, the name was...lucky
ReplyDeleteunfortunately both lucky are male...hah
Is it possible that Lucky was neutered and so didn't have any reason to be romantic?
